How Do You Go Live On Tik Tok

Hi Everyone,

The first thing you will need to know is that the option to go live on TikTok is only available once you reach 1000 fans.

Once you reach 1000 fans, here is how you go live on TikTok.

Step 1: Open the TikTok app.

Step 2: Click the plus button which is located at the bottom of your screen.

Step 3: Bellow the record button, tap the LIVE option.

That’s it.

Now, If you don’t see the live option then try to swipe over the options that you do see under the record button (I am referring to the 60s, 15s, and template options).

But if still don’t see the Live feature this means that TikTok has not enabled the Live feature in your account because you have less than 1000 fans.

If you have more than 1000 fans, and you still don’t see this live option, then I would personally just contact the TikTok team and ask them to enable the Live option in my account.

How To Contact TikTok Support

Here is how to contact TikTok support team to inform them that you can’t go live (even though you already have 1000 fans).

Step 1: tap the profile icon (where it says *me* under a figure icon at bottom of your screen).

Step 2: Tap the three dots at the top right corner of your screen.

Step 3: Scroll down the options, and tap on ‘Report a problem’ option under the ‘Support’ caption (you will see a pencil icon right next to those words).

Step 4: Tap the Live/Payment/Rewards option.

Step 5: Tap the ‘Hosting Live’ option.

Step 6: Tap the ‘I can’t start a live’ option.

Step 7: Tap the ‘No’ option under ‘Is your problem resolved?’

Step 8: Tap on ‘Still have problem’.

Step 9: Then you will see a text box, and in this text box just write the fact that you have 1000 fans, but you are not able to go live.

Step 10: Tap the red ‘Report’ button.

That’s it.

The TikTok support team now knows about the issue, and hopefully they will enable the Live feature on your account within a few business days.
