How To Buy A Web Hosting Package

In the previous lesson here, I showed you how to register a domain name with Namecheap, and in this lesson I want to show you how to purchase a hosting package with Hostgator.

If a domain name is the address of your house online, then hosting is what you decide to put inside your house. In your house you will put items like furniture, and in your hosting you will put website files.

You must have both domain name and a hosting package if you want to have a website.

Here is how to purchase a hosting package from Hostgator

This lesson is part of my entire digital marketing course which I released in 2012, so the current HostGator website interface will look different yet the the registration logic is the same.

The web hosting service that I recommend in the video is Hostgator, and I still feel it is a good hosting provider. Saying this, nowadays, I recommend that you register with Bluehost.
